I've been using Parallels since version 4 and this is the first time I've encountered this issue. I have no problems with my win7 VM, but if I leave parallels running my host 10.9.1 system will not stay asleep. The host will enter sleep mode and wake back up in 42-50 seconds. I've narrowed this down to an issue with the Parallels app itself. The behavior is the same whether I have a VM running or not. If I leave Parallels running with no VM launched my host system will not sleep. If I quit parallels the system will sleep just fine. Any ideas how to resolve this issue Thanks.
