[1800] - The remote computer has ended the connection.

Hi guys!

Got a problem starting applications via a 2x Connection.

The app shows in Info-tab, but when opening the app, I get a:

[1800] - The remote computer has ended the connection.
---------------------------

Logging on and running said applications works a treat.

Running:
2X Client Version: 6.1.7600 (80) on win xp sp3 on company network
SMB Applicationserver version 9.0, build 1073 on virtual Server 2008 R2 64bit

I couldn't find any 2x-related articles, but got a single hit from Microsoft. Could this be it?

Hi there,

do you have the same issue using MSTSC?

Did you try the hotfix (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/898713)?

Which connection mode do you use?
Please use the "gateway" mode.

Did you limited the ammount of allowed connections to the TS (see TS settings)?

Do you have enough CALs?

For troubleshooting disable even firewalls and antivirus.

For me this was the connection mode, I had set direct and needed gateway
