I keep running into this and wondered if others were too. When I use Windows Explorer and try to rename a file that exists on the Mac partition (using the Parallels tools, I mapped a network drive), I am limited to about 28 characters.
However, when I use the "Save" function from within an application (such as Word) I am not limited by 28 characters.
This is causing problems because I end up using a long file name when saving from within the application but I can go back and rename it using Windows Explorer.
Ideas?
