Hello,
I have contacted sales.us@2x.com twice in the past two weeks with no response. I am still somewhat interested in implementing 2X but I have a few questions.
I recently received a chance to interact with the 2X Application Server at another company. They did a very good job at presenting it and we have gained interest in the product. We are currently using Novell with ZENworks Network Application Launcher (NAL). We are looking at 2X to completely replace our NAL. Right now our NAL opens and installs applications locally. We do like the ability run applications on our terminal server but we do require several applications to run locally and they will need an icon in the 2X Client window.
- Can we use 2X to provide access to both Terminal Server-based and local (client-based) applications?
- Can we use 2X to provide access to local applications if workstation is not connected to the network?
- Does it support eDirectory?
- Terminal Services occasionally has issues with processes hitting 100% (i.e. an application locks up and a user does not realize this application is running on the terminal server). When this happens everyone will be effected, what have you done to combat this?
Thank You,
Jesse
