3.0, build 5608 - No Internet Connection, CHKDSK always sticks

I have had Parallels for about a year on my Mac Pro, but have always been so frustrated with it that I never use it.

So I finally need to use Parallels to use an internet application that only works on Windows. I have tried Crossover with IE but still have problems, so I need to use Parallels & IE to run this appllication.

But, I cannot connect to the internet. I have read many of the forum posts, but cannot seem to find a solution.

Additionally, at Startup Parallels wants to run CHKDSK. I have tried to allow this, but it always sticks. I mean after an entire weekend of letting it run, still nothing.

Any solutions that you can offer would be appreciated.

Let me know what other info or screenshots that you would need.

I know almost nothing about PD3.0, but may be my knowledge will help you. -)

try, in the first attempt, to uninstall the PD30 and install it again.

I'm not sure, but uninstall probably could be done by mounting the dmg image (same as for install) and selecting uninstall from it.

Then after install make sure that Shared Networking is selected and boot up the vm and try again.
