3.0 line resuming windows VMs causes GSOD on host OS at random

hey guys, I've been using parallels for greater than 6 months now. It seems that 3.0 is causing GSODs at random on my host OS when trying to resume a windows XP or Windows Vista VMs. This strange problem happens at random. Anyone else experience this? Also, 3.0 branch seems so much slower than the 2.x branch :(
 
Yup, I'm seeing all of those issued in addition to sporadic restarts of OS X just when using a VM. Memory tests come back clean as does all other OS X system tests. This started with the latest set of builds, and is very frustrating. I am not running into this issue in Fusion, strictly in PD.

Hopefully a fixed fix is around the corner.
 
I have nearly Exact same MBP config except 2Gig. I'm only giving 300MB to my XP VM (only using it to VPN and use RDP) and maybe 750MB to my Vista VM (testing for IE7 vista version).


glad to see that i'm not the only person having this issue.

Please post some logs of the kernel panic(s). If the panic logs of the kernel panics are posted it is much easier for the Parallels team to determine what is causing them.

Hallo.

Could you tell me what exact Parallels build you use? If it is not 4560, please update to it.

Do you experience GSODs only when you resume a suspended VM and never when you power it on?
 
i have the latest build, 4560.

The GSOD usually is when resuming a VM at random. It's strange because sometimes after the GSOD i can resume the VM and others it's a new boot.

I rarely reboot my mac. Hell, the only time I do is when i have a GSOD Caused by parallels. :-\






On a sidenote, another symptom that's been caused by the 3.x branch of parallels is BSOD on guest VM as well at random when doing resumes as well. :-\

I love this product and boy this is frustrating. :-\
