I am running 10.5.5 on a 2.4 Ghz MBP with 4GB of memory. My boot camp partition is an NTFS partition with XP SP3 installed. I have 1 GB of memory allocated to the virtual machine. I have 3 problems: 1. About once a day if I boot the XP portion in Parallels 4.0, I get a "Disk not found" error. If I create a new Parallels setup, it works fine. But it's a pain because this takes about 5-10 minutes to do. 2. In Coherence mode, my mouse cursor just drifts slowly to the bottom right. It works fine in Window mode. I've re-installed Parallels Tools without any luck. 3. Boot times of XP are significantly slower. How do I speed this up? Overall, performance seems to be slower with Parallels 4 than 3. I've changed the VM config to only show 1 processor and this seems to help. What have other people found works well? Thanks.
