This is the second time I am running the new download
and I am getting very bad screen errors only on WinXP sp2 on Parallels window as a whole
View menu OS Window
usable for text only
rainbow colurs in icons
bands of false colours

when I do BETA testing for AOL localisation
here is a standrd bug reporting system
where I email a report in a standardised way from a browser window wih drop down menus OS processor etc etc
YOU ARE HERE: Beta Tests > AOL 9.0 VR > Report a Bug
==
after one hour the flickers have stopped
but the rendering of the image on the desktop is pixellated
AHA
it has dropped to 8 bit 1440 x 950
<< so that is the error introduced by this beta on the second run >>
full screen mode for the second tiome 1920 x 1200 8 bit again
manually reset to 24 bit same res
OK
32 bit forces 1689 x 1050
all on the Apple Cinema HD as a second screen
going back from
full screen mode 1920 x 1200
hangs on 24 bit when 1440 x 950 should be 32 bit when i made the setting
Repeating the rotation ============
revolution drops to 8 bit instead of 24
THE BUG
alt control
on revolution back
remains on 8 bit instead of going back to 32 bit
put it on the "to be fixed" list please
caching users own screen settings and reverting
the reason it apparenly happened on the second run
is that I rotated as a demo to a house guest towards the end of yesterday's session
she, a pc user, gasped ;-)
regards
Hugh W
