Every time I access WinXP pro through boot camp and then switch back to accessing it through parallels I get the "Warning Parallels tools is installing..." message. This happens every time I switch back and forth.

It wouldn't be so bad if parallels tools then worked correctly but many times mouse sync is turned off and the checkbox is grayed out. The enable coherence mode is also grayed out. I then have to uninstall and reinstall the tools for everything to work correctly.

Is this a known issue? If not, I just wanted to alert the developers to this.

    Cheers.

Sounds like it was never correctly installed.
In Parallels, boot Windows XP into SAFE mode.
Using the Parallels window drop down options, select and install Parallel Tools.
    Reboot normally.

You will still receive (maybe) the warning, but after the desktop is fully loaded you shoud see the tools in the TRAY. Select it and all should be enabled.

The warning does not seem to ever disappear, but that does not mean the tools are actually being installed - again
