Previously I used Windows 98 under version 1970 without much problems(except from the usual program crashes that belong to the pc world).
I re-installed windows 98 again to make it easier for windows to find the software updates that 3186 came with.
I´ve already read about the faulty screen driver and expect an upgrade(soon?) will solve that problem. One just has to accept that it´s impossible to shut down the VM in a kind way.
However, I´m having another problem running a certain SDK application only available for windows. This application uses Microsoft Java Virtual Machine and for some reason I get errors that a certain class is undefined and the application must stop. I´ve been asking in forums to get some advice in this matter, but no reply has been given yet.
Having a past as a programmer, I find it hard to believe that Parallels desktop 3186 is to blame. Just to be sure, I´ll forward this question to this forum as well. Has anybody noticed incompatibility issues with programs out there?
