Is it correct to assume that Parallels is not going to do anything about the numerous problems being reported by users in build 3188?
That the only solution is to spend the money for the upgrade?

We will continue to release free updates with critical fixes for version 2.5 (latest build 3188). For example, one of the upcoming updates will have USB compatibility patch for newer Mac OS X kernels...
