3D Acceleration and CD/DVD Drive

I just got a new MacBook Pro and was wondering when the full update for 3D Acceleration and the CD/DVD drive recognition is going to be available. Build 3186 allowed for CD's to be read, but I still have problems, for example, when I attempt to load Sims 2, it will not even install the program. I attempted to install several games, such as Rise of Nations, Big Biz Tycoon 2, and Guild Wars and they would all install properly, but then would not run due to a 3D video card problem. I was just wondering when 3D games were going to be fully compatible with Parallels. Will it be sometime in the near future?

3d is allegedly in the works for version 3... probably 6 months away.... as for cd drive probs, this is probably due to safedisc and securerom protection that is currently an issue.
