3D Windows games in Parallels V1970?

I have a friend that says he found that he could not play Windows 3D games on his new CoreDuo Macbook using Parallels V1970 and XPSP2 and will have to use bootcamp instead:eek: .

I am running a MacPro with the upgraded ATI 1900 and V1970 Parallels / XP SP2. Will I be able to run 3D Windows games using Parallels or am I also out of luck?:confused:
 
No.

There is no Direct3D and OpenGL support in Parallels

Such support seems to be planned for the next major version (3.0), due later this year.
