I've been having a bit of a battle with my SpacePilot getting recognized
by Rhino V4 modeling software whereas I used to get this to happen pretty regularly from
    what I remember.

My recollection is that I used to just have to run Devices > USB >
"SpacePilot #2" and it would connect. This was a bit of a pain but now I
    can't even get it operating.

I have shut down the Virtual Machine and am now in the Configure section
where I have selected "USB Controller" and it is telling me that there
are "No USB devices connected" with no apparent other options.

I've tried unplugging the device from the monitor usb port and plugging
it directly into the computer with no luck so far.

I'm going to try a restart of the virtual machine and I would test it in
Wenatchee but I don't think Wenatchee will hook up to this device.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    TIA

    Hello,

Can anyone please help me with this issue?

I seem to have a USB Mouse #2 and a USB Controller #2.

Do these things get automatically added in DEVICES?!

CAN I DELETE THE #2's and then re-attach the devices and expect Parallels to re-recognize these devices?

I have tried everything I can imagine and I CAN'T GET THIS USB CONTROLLER TO GET RECOGNIZED.

Can someone please advise as to how to troubleshoot this?

    Thanks.

Seems like JuliaP has the same issue.

I have gotten as far as Parallels > Preferences > USB and setting "When a new USB device is detected:" > Ask me what to do.

Now when I unplug and replug in the device in another viewport I select Windows. However it still doesn't seem like it is recognized.

Does anyone know if I can somehow clear out Parallel's memory of (all?) USB devices by deleting /everything/ (clicking on the negative sign) in the image #1 below?

Does anyone know if I should be doing anything with the image #2 below?

    Help please?

    THANKS.

    Response

    Hi All.

This is a little bizarre in that I got an email copy of a post with someone asking if there was a solution to this but I don't see it on the forum. It's the second or third time this has happened (on different threads).

Anyway, to (and if there is a posted asking about this!) this was a ridiculous deal on my end where I thought I had the drivers installed on the machine but had reformatted the drive and totally forgot to install the driver.

I'm on Windows 7 64 bit but it was a pretty straightforward issue to find and load the drivers.

That said, I still see SpacePilot #2 or #3 or #4 on this device and Gaming Mouse #2 #3 or #4 sometimes for my USB peripherals and I'd love to see if there is a way to clean some of these out so they all show without the suffix numbers.

Good luck and let me know if that works.
