5160 and 5540 installers fail - any response from Parallels team

I made the mistake of uninstalling and attempting to reinstall parallels after network/internet access failed after 10.5 upgrade. Now neither installer will work. See the log posted in the earlier post on this subject I started. I would appreciate some guidance from someone at on Parallels staff as to how to remedy this problem. I have used the uninstaller, manually deleted all files as suggested in kb, tried with a new user, all to no avail.

please check, if Internet Sharing is enabled (Mac -> System preferences -> Sharing). If so, please disable Internet Sharing. And try to install Parallels Desktop one more time.
