On my year old Mac Pro, I wiped the drive, installed OSX 10.5 and applied all updates through 10.5.2. Next, I installed the release version of SecureClient for OSX (http://www.checkpoint.com/downloads/quicklinks/downloads_sr.html). My PC rebooted just fine and was working. I logged into the VPN - life was good. Then I went and installed build 5584 of Parallels. Every time I reboot, the desktop loads and then the mouse freezes within a few seconds. I uninstalled SecureClient and the freezes went away.
