64 bit Vista

When trying to install Vista I was told that it couldn't install the 64 bit version for this processor. My machine has a Core 2 duo, can't that do 64 bit?

Unfortunately,64-bit OS's are not supported yet. This feature will be avalible in one of the next versions of Parallels.
 
only one virtualization product currently offers 64 bit support. it would be bad form to mention it *cough*vmware*cough* :)
