A tip for people just missing out on the Tech Guarantee

    I've just been in contact with the Tech support about my purchase of Parallels on July 26th. As you can see, I missed the cutoff for the Tech Guarantee by 3 tiny days.

    I was not pleased by this fact, that my 3 week old software wasn't the latest anymore, and they were trying to charge me 50 euro for that. I could not blame myself, since Parallels don't communicate upcoming versions (apparently).

    However on http://kb.parallels.com/122664 you can see, there's a 30 day refund policy for Parallels. The tech support couldn't help me directly, so I had to go through the hassle of getting the refund, and buying the new version 11, but in the end, it's the result that counts.

    I already got the money back from Paypal just minutes after, and will repurchase when I get home tonight.
