Hi This is an appeal for help........ My IT group updated me to ActiveDirectory recently and I have just tried to AS my WM5 PDA. FIrst of all I got error messages that my Account was Password protected. So I guessed I would need to remove the partnership and build it again. I synced and selected overwrite items on PDA. I have treied this and Notes sync fine as does Worldmate Pro and SplashID but contacts, calendars and Tasks don't. There is no error message displayed but a highlight says 'View Status' and when I click this I get the message A desktop error occured 85010014. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? Cheers. Robin PS I re-installed AS and installed the 4.2 beta in case this helped. Same result.
hrm...this looks scary: http://vehera.symbiandevelopersjour..._windows_mobile_5_activesync__85010014_er.htm Using outlook 2003 by chance? Here's another one: http://forums.pocketpcfaq.com/viewtopic.php?t=16283 HTH, -Levi
Oho this does not sound promising. However I havie been using Outlook 2003 for some time so hopefully it is not a huge problem although the upgrade for ActiveDirectory did include and Exchange 2003 upgrade. I am not looking forward to trying to fix this. Robin
