Hello,
Does anyone know if there is a way to access files saved on Parallels with Windows XP from the Mac side? For instance, if I have a image saved in Windows XP, can I access it on the Mac side? Thanks in advance.

sshfs allows this. Google MacFuse and FUSE for more info.

when you run th VM, a mapped drive appears in your finder window as if you had attached a new hard disk giving total access to the windows partition

Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately it does not appear to be working on my computer. It's not showing up in Finder on the iMac side.

For this you need to set "Share Windows Drives" option in "Shared Folders" section of your VM configuration. Option "Mount shares on Mac desktop" is very convenient too, btw ;)

This feature is available in our 3.0 version. With it you can access entire Windows disk from Mac side.

How do I determine if I am on 3.0? Or has it not been released yet?

unfortunately the option "Share Windows Drives" isn't offered in the Shared Folders section of the VM configuration. The only options I get are to identify folders for sharing, and the choice of global and local drag/drop. That's it. Nor do I see where I can select the option "Mount shares..." either. Help/clarification appreciated, as always. Thanks.
