Access web pages in guest XP

I've installed guest XP Pro VM in bridged network mode.
It has its own IP address and I can access network and internet OK

If I turn Windows firewall off I can ping guest XP

I can also access shared drive on guest XP

But I cannot access the IIS web browser, or Oracle XE web server on guest OS from my host MacBook or another PC on the same network.

Is there anything else I need to do?
 
I know its not 'done' to comment on your own posts but just found that the MacBook firewall seems to be the culprit in blocking web access.

I can now access web server on guest OS by enabling rules within the firewall.
 
partially fixed - web access to IIS on port 80 now works
but access on another port - 8080 for Oracle 10g does not - even though there is a rule enabled in Mac firewall.
