I went to Sam's today to get Windows so that I could install Quicken on my Macbook Pro (mid-year 2006). But I accidentally picked up Windows Home Premium Upgrade, not the full Windows. I found out after it stated that the activation key would not work.
Now I am unsure how to proceed. Since I opened the Windows, I can't take it back. Is there a way to upgrade to full Windows? If not, I am thinking of getting XP and installing it first, although I hesitate to do that. A clean install would be better.
I was hoping someone may have experience with this situation. It has been a lot of money so far just to run Quicken.
This is what I get for going to Sam's at 7 in the morning
Thanks,
Vince
