I am trying to add two DVD-RW drives to my boot camp VM. However both Devices are identified as as Pioneer -DVD-RW DVR112D.
When I try to add the second CD/DVD Drive I select the second Pioneer drive.
However when I start the VM I get the following message.
"Unable to open device/file PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-112D"
It appears that CD/DVD Drive 1 and CD/DVD Drive 2 end up using the same physical drive even though when set up each one was specified to use a different Pioneer Drive.
Is there another way to specify the DVD-RW drives differently so they can be uniquely identified?
