Adobe Flash Error During Installation of MS ActiveSync

In attempting to install the Microsoft ActiveSync application to enable wireless phone/pda synchronization with MS Outlook I get the following error and the setup program aborts:

"Adobe Flash has encountered an error, so some pages may not display correctly."

Then the setup program aborts. Anyone know how to resolve this?
 
What version of ActiveSync are you installing? Have you tried reinstalling a new version of Flash Player downloaded at Adobe's site?
