After upgrade Parallels attempts to connect to network server on VM startup

Recently I upgraded Parallels 9 to Parallels 13 on my Mac running Yosemite (10.10.5).

Since then, every time I start a VM my Mac attempts to connect to another computer on the local network. It seems that my Mac was connected to this other computer during the installation and now Parallels tries to establish this connection when it starts a VM.

I believe the problem lies with Parallels and not the VM, I tried creating a new VM, I tried to open an older copy of my existing VM but the problem remains.

I tried uninstalling Parallels by deleting the app and running the installer again. I also tried to delete Parallels and as many Parallels-related files I could find in the Library folders (not sure I deleted everything) but still nothing changed.

Any ideas on how I can make Parallels forget this connection?
