i had Windows 8 Consumer Preview and used to ran Command & Conquer super smooth without any lag or problems, then I upgraded to Windows 8 Pro, after reinstall the game, it turned super slow even with minimized graphics.
I have adjusted all the configuration to make it work, including allocating 4gb memory, highest video memory etc, but it just doesnt work anymore. I wonder if there is anything else i could run my games smoothly like the old consumer preview windows version??? And why this pro version doesnt do things well anymore??
