My SMC router died and I replaced it with an Airport Extreme Base Station (older 802.11G).

Now, I can't access 'My Network Places>Workgroup' on my virtual XP machine. I have internet access but no network access.

I'm getting the following error message:

'Workgroup is not accessible. You might not have permission to use the network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

'The list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available'

When the SMC died, I lost all of my old settings from my SMC router.

Do I need to forward any ports or anything to see the network on the virtual machine?

All I did was replace my Barricade g SMC2804WBRP-G with an Airport Extreme 802.11g.

Now I can't access my network, but CAN access the internet in Parallels 3170 RC3

I ONLY use parallels to access work files over our local network. Now that is broken.

I'm using Bridged Ethernet: Default Adapter in Parallels.

How can I re-gain access to my network?

    Thanks for the help.
