All Went Well But Nothing Actually Happened

Bit poster
after succesfull instal and using XP with default virtual HD of 8Gb i ran out of space pretty quick,,,
So i used tools to increase it too 20Gb ,,, all seemed to go ok but Nothing actually happened?
when i go back in to parallels desktop for XP the config sectiom says File location is winxp.pvs
and the resources section says under Hard Disc 1 that my space is 20000Mb file winxp.hdd ???
 
Er, so what's the problem?

What does Windows tell you it has for its drive space?

In my experience, its best to ignore what the Parallels dialog tells you and beleive what Windows reports as its disk size.
 
This question has been asked and answered many times here. Do a forum search on "expand disk image". Several of the 13 hits will explain the problem and suggest solutions.
