AlmaLinux on Apple Silicon

Restarting another thread on this as it's been a couple of years since the old one.

Trying to get AlmaLinux running on Parallels 20 - both 9.4 and 8.10, which both say they are the aarch64 version.
I download the ISO, Create a new VM but as soon as it starts, it exits with the error 'X86 emulated VM has incompatible configuration'. I'm sure I downloaded the aarch64 ISO for both.
Anyone got this working?
 
I had the same problem - Parallels 20.0 - Mac M1 - both 9.4 and 8.10 were generating "'X86 emulated VM has incompatible configuration" error despite they were aarch64 versions. Solved with upgrading Parallels from 20.0 to 20.1. Hope it helps.
