an error occurred while accessing the hard disk

I suddenly get the following error when working with my VM:

an error occurred while accessing hard disk 0 used by ....

This has never happened before. I restored the VM from backups, which I new where OK at the time and still get this error.

I'm completely at loss here. Guess I will just trash the VM and stop using Parallels as I don't have the time to setup another and have a perfect one running on Fusion and Virtualbox....
 
bug is with latest Parallels version!!

tried one last thing:

uninstalled latest Parallels version (which I had updated a few days ago) because I remembered that problem started with this version (ParallelsDesktop-parallels-en_US-6.0.12092.670880).

reinstalled previous vesion (ParallelsDesktop-parallels-en_US-6.0.12090.660720_cd73614) and tried my XP VM.


All worked fine again! The error did not appear anymore.

So I have to conclude that the latest PD version has a problem.

PD team please advise!!!!!
