An option to turn off Energy Saver or at least some of its most inelegant actions

    For example, reviving Windows after it sleeps due to Energy Saver is painful, as the Windows screen goes black (and doesn't disappear). Then you have to click on the Windows icon in the Mac Dock and then watch Windows agonizingly pass through two different phases of extremely low-res display and then finally achieve the appropriate high-res display. I've found no way to turn this "feature" off. Indeed, there's no way to turn off Energy Saver once you turn it on. This isn't good programming!
