Annoying dialog about Travel Mode that can't be dismissed

Hello,
Today I went to access my Windows 7 VM and was presented with a dialog box that asks "Would you like to switch <VM> to Travel Mode?". This dialog box does not respond to any trackpad input, and thus is present the entire time I am trying to use my VM. (I would have attached a screen shot, but I can't see a way to do that -- all of the options want a URL, and the file is on my computer. Perhaps you could also offer some advice about that.)
I did discover that it will respond to a click from my external mouse. Fortunately I have one; if I did not, I don't know of any way to dismiss this dialog box.
This is most annoying, to say the least. Please fix this or offer a workaround that doesn't involve an external mouse.
