    Hi,

I have had a good search for a tweaking guide or someone that has the same issue as me. I have Windows XP installed with the very latest version of Parallels and Winamp. Call me Crazy but Winamp and the coherence mode is the ONLY reason why I want to use Parallels and the sound performance is DIRE! It skips every 10 seconds and I have played with buffer settings and monitored the CPU on the windows box and it never goes above 17% but still skips. Please please please tell me that this is cureable :)

    Thanks in advance

After playing around with my VM for hours tweaking sound buffers and such like I installed a different XP image. I was using a XP compressed with NLite to save space and it appears I got rid of something crucial. I am using another XP disc image and it works like a charm.

I am now truely loving Parallels! (Looking forward to good DirectX implementation too!)
