annoying virtual machine launches

Since version 3.0, latest update, while working in a mac-application suddenly parallels launches to open some files in a win xp application. This is excruciatingly irritating and i can't find out how to stop it.

I don't want parallels windoze interfering with my Mac-apps!! How can I stop this?

Solution was pretty simple, after all... In my virtual machine configuration I had to disable 'Share Mac Applications to windoze' option (who wants that?!) under 'shared applications'.
