I am unable to install my Visoneer Strobe XP100 scanner using Windows XP and Parallels. The device works fine with my PC desktop. When it is plugged into the USB port of my MacBook Pro there is no recognition of the device in Windows.

Have you used the USB menu at the bottom right of parallels while the guest is running to put a checkmark next to the scanner?

Hi - thanks very much for the idea. It worked and I was able to install the scanner. I just checked the "Apple Wireless" indicator and windows immediately installed several drivers. They were completely unrelated to the scanner, but at least it seemed to open up the USB port. Because after these were installed, I attached the scanner to the usb port and the windows xp program found the new hardware immediately. Whereas it did not find any new hardware before. Just wish this would work on my blackberry desktop manager, then that would be great.
