Hello to the Support Staff, I've tried every attempt to install the prl-tools-lin.iso in my FreeBSD 8.2 Guest OS, but no one succeeded!!! Firstly, the prl-tools-lin.iso failed to mount automatically by KDE4 for FreeBSD. Secondly, even when I sent the iso to cloud and then downloaded the same (using the browser of FreeBSD) to my home directory, and proceeded to use the FreeBSD command line method of mounting the iso successfully. I got an error message that the "Parallels Guest Tools can be installed on a Linux guest OS only" when trying to install using the command "bash install". And what's even worse is that, I found the install program inside the prl-tools-lin.iso has a header of #!/bin/bash BUT the FreeBSD 8.2 has all it's bin located in /usr/local/bin instead of /bin, so that the command "./install" does not work. With all the problems listed above, I doubt the prl-tools-lin.iso is the very Parallels Tools to go with FreeBSD 8.2. All in all, I just want to confirm from you about when will a specific Parallels Tools for FreeBSD 8.2 come out ? Thanks for attention w/ BR, Michael P.S.
