Hi, is there any way to disable USB access within the Windows vm if I plug a USB drive into my Mac? My company has restrictions on the use of USB drives, and even if I use MDM to prevent USB drive access on the Mac, it still appears in Parallels Desktop. There doesn't look like any settings to do that.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

Hi @DavidL36 , please go to Parallels Desktop preferences > USB > Select the device >Assign it to mac.

Yes I tried that. We have a Mac security policy in place to prevent use of USB drives, and for some reason the drive gets detected by the Windows VM automatically even when we changed that Preferences setting. Not sure how it's bypassing the Mac setting to do that. I just need to disable the USB access across the board.

  4. Please open the virtual machine's configuration window, select Hardware -> USB & Bluetooth and click on the '-' sign at the bottom to remove the option and check if it helps.
