.... the whole bootcamp thing should have been rolled out to a smaller beta group first, before making it generally available via the forums ?

Dont get me wrong, its working great for me, but the poor Parallels support guys seem like they are being bombarded by support queries about it.

i saw the title of your post and immediately finished it with

I'm waiting before i go with the latest. actually, it doesn't interest me all that much because i happen to like being able to backup an image with drag and drop rather than a drive backup. the only things i really want are 3D and dual monitor support and I'm fixed. However I don't prefer 3D support through a bootcamp image, i want it from the standard parallels hdd.

and upgrade path right now is very slow for me...i'm using this for production work...so I can't hose up my installation with any more betas...its working fine now so leaving well enough alone until the project ends.
