Anyone running Visual Studio.net 2008 with Parallels 5

I too ran Visual Studio 2008 in Fusion 3.0.1 (since 2.0.6) and it ran fine - but it was slower than I'd like (especially in scrolling the code up and down). Last week, I got a trial copy of Parallels 5 and converted my VMWare clients to Parallels. All went fine with the conversions and now my Windows XP, Windows 7 and Ubuntu 9.10 all work at a good deal smoother than they did in Fusion. Visual Studio (running on Windows 7) doesn't have the same delays as with Fusion as far as I have been able to tell. I think at this point, I'm going to continue to use Parallels at least until Fusion is able to catch up on performance.

Anyone running Visual Studio.net 2008 with Parallels 5? I am using Fusion 3 and it seems slow. How does it run on P5? Faster? More reliable? I'm thinking of switching. Thanks.
I am in the same situation as you - I have been running Visual Studio 2008 on Fusion 3.0.1 with fairly good results. My biggest complaint with Visual Studio is the scrolling delays when looking at the code. This is just real choppy. Also, the time when testing the code is a good delay before the IE comes up. But all in all despite the delays, I'm just happy I can run it successfully on my MacBook Pro.
About a week ago, I got a trial version of Parallels 5 and converted each of my VM Clients (Windows 7, Windows XP and Ubuntu 9.10) with no problems. Honestly, each of them run nice and smooth. Visual Studio is noticeably faster and the annoying choppiness when scrolling code is gone. Load times for testing the code has also improved. Since I use Visual Studio all day at work, it is a fairly easy choice for me personally to make the switch to Parallels.
For me, Parallels does have some quirks (don't they all) and I've found that Visual Studio runs the best in a Full Window or Coherence mode. Crystal mode has given me issues with my Windows 7 client. No biggie - I'd rather have the performance gains than another cool/fancy mode.
Don't get me wrong - I am a big fan of Fusion and making the switch kind of pains me a little. But for me, I'm making the move at least until Fusion can work out their issues.
