Apk file issue Mac>Android

When I try to open a downloaded apk file it asks for an application to use to open with. I tried using Parallels Desktop app, nothing happened. No file sharing allowed between Mac and Android interface either. Suggestions?

Hey, we've already discussed this.
And one of the probable solution is downloading filr on the VM side.
