Application AVRStudio doesn't work in Parallels

Hi,
I'm currently testing out Parallels, and love it's responsiveness. Running build 5584 with Windows XP SP2 installed on boot camp partition. Everything works except a vital program for me, AVRStudio, an electronics development program.
I'm trying to use the version 4.13 built 528 of AVRStudio, , but have tried other versions before and after it with the same problem.

The software starts up fine, but on loading a project it gives a runtime error and quits
Runtime Error!
Program C:\Program Files\Atmel\AVR Tools\AvrStudio4\AVRStudio.exe
This applications has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the applications's support team for more information.

The same XP installation booted in boot camp runs the program fine, it also works fine when I boot the installation in vmware, but I have to say I like the overall feel of parallels better than vmware, so it'd be great of I could find the cause of this problem.

Thanks

Hello Corona,

Please make sure that DirectX supoprt (experimental) is disabled in your VM Configuration (Video section).

I will ask our engineers to test this program. Thank you for your report.

Best regards,
Xenos
