Appreciation post -- Linux 3D Acceleration

Okay. Holy crap.

The performance difference between my KDE setup on 17 and 17.1 is like night and day. Three days ago, I had to run at 1400x900 to get a stable 20fps with XRender. I am now running KDE with OpenGL at full resolution at 2x scale on my M1 MacBook Pro.

I'm literally at a loss for words. This will affect so much of my workflow in such positive ways... just. Thank you, you virtualization mystics.
