Are Parallels disk images created with v.3 backwarsd compatible?

Hi all,

In other words, if I create a disk image with Parallels 3, install guest OS on it will I be able to move that disk image to another Mac open that disk image with Parallels 2 Virtual Machine?

Hello Adam,

You will have to convert the disk from 3 version to 2.5 version manually:
see the article http://kb.parallels.com/entry/28/527/ (without steps #9 and #10)
