I need to migrate a OS X paralls VM to a windows system.

    Might this work?

Of course it should work. Just copy HDD file with disk image and attach it to VM in primary Windows.

Is the Windows version of parallels more stable?

I really appreciate the speed of parallels, but two kernel panics today (with beta2) which caused me to lose work make me think I may want to wait a few weeks to use this again. I'm sure by then these guys will have the kernel panics figured out.

Meanwhile, I guess I'll give the windows version a shot (via bootcamp). (My objective here is to be able to run a win2k3 instance on my laptop, and then be able to push updated versions of that image from my desktop)

    1. Windows version is in release state and absolutely stable.
    2. Could you report your kernel panic details to Parallels support?
