Assigning airport to Mac and ethernet to GuestOS?

Hi,
sorry if this is a stupid question, but I looked around in the forum and I think I found no similar topic...

Is it possible to, say, assign the airport-card of my macbook exclusively to MacOS and the ethernet port exclusively to the GuestOS (WXP)?

Reason is that I need WXP for stuff on my internal network (which has no internet access) and I'd like to use MacOS for e-mail and surfing via WLAN.

It seemed a good idea to separate the two OSs - but is it possible?

Or is it a daft idea?
