Autodesk VIZ 2008 Not Staying Open after Launching

I have a Mac Pro running Parallels 3.0-5160. Autodesk VIZ 2008 does not fully launch when in Parallels, but it does in bootcamp. The program will open, and you can see the many boxes, but the text/icon images don't show, and after maybe 30s-1m of waiting, the whole program just quits. Any ideas?

Mac Pro
2 x 3.0GHz Dual Core Intel Xeon
5GB RAM
