This problem still occurs in 20.1
If, in a Windows 11 VM, DNS is set to automatic, meaning IP address resolution starts thru some Parallels DNS-IP address, NSLOOKUP times out, and any new web page takes about 6 seconds to load.

If I enter DNS servers manually, the same ones being served by the DHCP server on the network, NSLOOKUP is fine and browser pages come up instantly.

This problem was previously reported for version 20.x at
    https://forum.parallels.com/threads/shared-network-nslookup-times-out.365399/

Can I get a response from Parallels staff? I am a Pro-level subscriber, I would appreciate at least an acknowledgement, it has been 6 days since the original report.

    Hello @Don Awalt
    Thank you for your feedback.
To let us better understand the situation, please perform the following steps:
    1. Reproduce the issue.
    2. Collect a technical report (click the Parallels icon on top of the Mac menu bar > Help > Send technical data > check "Attach screenshots..." > press Send Report) and send the report's 9-digit ID in a reply to this message.

Additionally, please perform the following actions to attempt an eliminate Adapter misconfiguration/malfunction.
    a. Shut down your virtual machine (Actions > Shut down). If it is in a suspended state, resume it and then shut it down.
    b. Open each virtual machine's Configuration: click the Parallels icon > Control Center > right-click on the virtual machine > Configure.
    c. Go to Hardware > Network and then in the bottom left click "-" to delete the network adapter from the virtual machine.
    d. Then click "+" > "Network" to re-add the network adapter.
    e. Try to reproduce the issue.
We look forward to hearing from you soon.
    Best Regards

@Ashley Chumun thanks for the reply!
I did the technical report - #472325912. For reference, the prior report I did was #471805944.

I tried the removal/addition of the network adapter per your steps above, and the problem persists - nslookup www.google.com for example times out, and any new page in multiple browsers takes 6 seconds to display, likely due to dns timeouts.

To fix, in Windows in the VM I change the DNS settings manually, in this case IPv4 - 1.1.1.3 and 1.0.0.3 (Cloudfare), and IPv6 to 2606:4700:4700::1113 and 2606:4700:4700::1003 (Cloudfare), and nslookup is fine and browser pages come up instantly - without restarts, shutdowns, etc.

    Please advise.
