This is an ongoing problem with prior builds as well. When I tell XP to shut down, it does, but then it'll hang at the blue-screen part. Force-quitting Parallels is the only way out, and eventually the XP disk image becomes corrupt and the contents are lost. I have reloaded XP into a new disk image (.hdd) and eventually the problem comes back. I am running a MBP. This is becoming a serious problem. Any ideas?
bump: any ideas? the problem exists under b1970 as well so it doesn't appear to be a "well it is beta so shut up" problem.
bump. I'm suddenly having the same problem, after 3 months running an XP virtual machine with no problems. I'll describe exactly what I was doing: I dl'd isight drivers to my MPB desktop, and then, withiin XP, went into the parallels shared folders to my OS X desktop to copy the zip file into the XP C: partition. Parallels crashed. Parellels and then XP booted fine, but when trying to close down XP, clicking Start > Turn Off Computer > Turn Off would hang XP. I've done this several times now with same result. Advice greatly appreciated!
