Hello,

How do I make a backup of parallels Windows installtion and all of the software and settings that I've done within that evironment?

When I juse my backup software, it fails.

Hello,

you can either create a snapshot (Parallels Desktop menu->Actions->Create Snapshot) or just copy a VM from Mac.

Wait... snapshot is NOT an option for backup since I could not restore everything from scratch should I have to.

I meant just copying the whole VM folder.
And I didn't quite understood why you think snapshot won't do for a backup.
