What backup strategies do you use?

Multiple Snapshots?

Copying the VM file? (How do I determine its name)?

Scripts that copy the files you care about to a shared file on the Mac where it they get picked up by your Mac backups?

I don't have a big external drive yet, so space is still an issue in my backups.

I clone the VM every weekend onto an external hard disk (after the MS updates and cleaning the registry with the Windows Live OneCare scanner freebie

and before any updates of Parallels

My data is in shared folders, and externally and uploaded onto the web or as an attachment in google mail NOT in Windows My Documants or on the desktop except temporarily

You MUST buy an external hard disk or pay for one of the web back up services

and seasoned Mac users get a second screen as soon as possible

The Mac OS is highly automated and manually searching for and copying files is not really necessary

I prefer not to use iPhoto but I should use Adobe The Bridge

Using the built in cloning facility means that the PD App "knows" where they are

last time I got a black screen (caused by lack of space on my Macintosh HD )
I just started running the cloned VM from the firewire 800 LA Cie - in fact a Seagate HD.
and deleted the failed VM

All digital images go directly to an external hard disk and then up to FlickR Pro
